SEND (Special Educational Needs and Disabilities) support in Welton St Mary’s is crucial for creating an inclusive environment that supports to the diverse needs of all children. Effective SEND support involves a comprehensive approach, including personalised education plans, specialist teaching strategies, and access to various support services.

At Welton St Mary’s CE Primary Academy School, for instance, the SEND support program includes tailored interventions for all children who need support with their learning. Here at Welton St Marys we have worked hard in collaboration with parents and carers to ensure a holistic approach to each child’s development. We offer resources and materials to help educators and families understand and implement effective strategies for supporting children with SEND. This approach not only helps in addressing the specific needs of each child but also fosters an inclusive school culture where all students feel valued and supported.

Through our Padlet you will be able to seek the support and guidance you may need to support your child/ren on their journey at Welton St Mary’s.
