Funding

Welton St Mary’s Church of England Primary Academy receives its funding directly from  the Education and Skills Funding Agency (ESFA).  Additional funding  is received for

  • Higher Needs Special Education Needs provision
  • Children eligible  for pupil premium funding
  • PE and Sports.

For 2020-21, in response to  COVID, schools and academies have received an additional Catch-up Premium.

Academy trusts must comply with the Academies Financial handbook as a condition of their funding agreement. It provides an overarching framework for implementation of effective financial management and control.
