HIGHER LEVEL TEACHING ASSISTANT

FULL TIME ONE YEAR FIX TERM CONTRACT with possibility of it being extended in accordance with the needs of the school.

32.5hr Monday to Friday term time (39 WEEKS)

Grade range: G6 scp 15-18 (£27’803- £30’296) pro rata

Required from 2nd September 2024 – 31st August 2025

 

This role is to support the high-quality teaching and learning within the school. It will involve teaching across the primary age ranges including covering teacher absence, covering courses and delivering PPA and leadership time.

This role requires the successful candidate to be highly flexible and be able to adapt to short notice. The ability to fully support our Christian ethos is essential.

The successful candidate will have very high expectations of pupil achievement and behaviour, will have boundless energy and a genuine enthusiasm for whole school life. We expect high standards of teaching and a passion for learning. We work together to enable all our children and staff to thrive.

Pastoral Support Officer

 Part time – Fixed term post from 1st September 2024 – 1yr contract with the possibility for it to be extended.

Grade 3 (£22,737 – £23,893 FTE) 30hrs per week (8.00am – 2.30pm) 39 weeks.

We are seeking to appoint a dedicated and committed person to work within the pastoral team under the direction of the Headteacher, Designated Safeguard Lead, to provide the highest standard of pastoral care.

The postholder will complete and support with administration tasks such as completion of EHAs, LAC paperwork, PSPs and TACs and become the lead person for a number of TACs.

They will be one of the key points of communication within the school for external agencies and parents/carers as well as working closely with pupils, staff, parents and carers to contribute to a high level of pupil wellbeing and in-school support.

The post requires a high level of emotional resilience and professionalism whilst still having high expectations of achievement and behaviour of students. The successful candidate will have very high communication and interpersonal skills as well as being good at problem-solving. Administrative and organisational skills are key along with having a good understanding of IT.  They will have boundless energy and a genuine enthusiasm for whole school life.
