Year 6 had a brilliant time at Construction Day. From demolition, plumbing and scaffolding to wind turbines, bricklaying and even nuclear fusion – they explored it all! Huge thanks to the local companies for giving up their time and inspiring the next generation.

Our Year 5s are “pedal ready!” after taking on Bikeability this week. They’ve faced challenges, shown resilience, and are riding with growing confidence.

Year 4 had a great time celebrating all things Lincolnshire at the Lincolnshire Showground. The children had a great day and picked up some new skills along the way

We travelled back in time for Victorian Day to celebrate our 200th birthday. Children learnt the value of a penny, practised object drawing, took part in PE drills, explored scripture, and wrote about their dwelling houses — just as children once did here in Welton, as shown in our old log books!

It’s been another fantastic residential for our Y6 children at East Barnby. Full of amazing outdoor adventures. The children have absolutely loved every minute – from body boarding in the waves and skiing on the slope to canoeing and beck scrambling (which they were quick to point out is much bigger than Welton Beck!).
